Acura Vigor Questions Plz Help

Ok long story short
1.rAN through a puddle of water that later turned into a pool (water was on top of hood for like 2 seconds)
2. almost died when it shut off on me on an exit on a highway had to ebrake on a one way street .. becuz im nice wit it
3. car starts smoking white smoke (which i figured was antifreeze)
4 towed it to aamco (they charged me for stuff they didnt do. e.i. diagnostic!!, transmission flush (which he didnt charge me for) and this compression thing that he says will take any water that may be in the engine out(which he didnt charge me for, all the while im thinkin this is a cool *** dude)
5. 300 dollars later (was expecting to pay double) i picked the car up because it "ran like new" 3hours later the battery light and oil light come on and it shuts off on me.
6 call them back pissed off and tell the guy that i've only had it for like 5 hours and his Dum*** says " we'll actually its only been 2 hours)
7. loooked under hood and see pink string holding up a sardine can thats catching dripping antifreeze, which aamco claims they didnt do.
8. had aamco pay to tow it back there because i wasnt going to pay 70 dollars to tow it and he calls me back 3 days later saying "Oohh you have a broken camshaft........ 10 second pause*** oh yeah "and you need a new motor"
9. WTF!! thats like saying you need to replace the roof in your house because its leaking badly....Pause......"and you need a new house because termites are eating it up. they didnt fix a god d*** thing so i got my money back

i took it to anther mechanic and he fixed the leak. he told me it'll take a week for the car to stop smoking because the antifreeze that leaked has to burn up, but when im at a red light for long i start smelling something burning and i have to park and shut if off for like 5 minutes ..what could be wrong. is it an electrical problem? and how much is that to fix? OH yeah and the smell is coming from the battery area like around the wires but it smells like burning antifreeze didnt want to analize the smell and pass out under my hood so i backed up. any help will be appreciated
oh yeah and what other engine swap would be compatible with a vigor?

here my assumption: when you hit the puddle, oil pan got hit as well, all of the oil leak out, smoke is coming out not because of antifreeze but because of your engine is overheating, im sure you have coolant but internal engine friction could produce smoke, without oil to lubricate the camshaft locked up
