Honda Overspeed Alarm Suppression

Hi,

I am in the process of purchasing a 2007 Honda Odyssey. I want the dealership to modify the overspeed alarm by either suppression or limiting the time duration of the alarm. The dealership insists that they cannot modify this alarm as it will result in other system malfunction.

Can anybody confirm this or otherwise provide a way to get it done?
