jetta 1.8t ECU

I have an 2002 1.8t and I have three Q's

does anyone have a 1.8t with an ECU upgrade?

Is it worth the 500 bucks?

how much faster will it brake my car?

$500 for ecu upgrade?
I would reccomend a JET chip upgrade, more like $270 and a good product.

My brother picked up a jet ecu and only gained a few HP, it wont make much of a diference.
I think your best off spending $$$ on turbo upgrades, I.E. downpipe, 3" exaust, BOV.

and keep in mind, it is a VW, so it wont be too long before something goes wrong I.E. tranny, wiring, piston rings.

They're supposed to give you 25-30hp. I hear that you can beat a stock '04 Mustang GT with the upgrade.

I'm almost certain you will need to use premium fuel.

Just call them. I think that $500 is worth it for 25hp, since you can buy an intake, header, and an exhaust on a honda and only gain 10.
