Anybody here drive the SE-R Sentra? I was wondering what you guys thought about the car, and if you guys had any idea of what kind of aftermarket support is going to be available for this wonderful car that I own. If you don't like it, TELL ME WHY! I am always open to find out what could be improved in my car. One thing I can already say is that, the tail lights on my car looks kind of weak, and ugly. Another is the low redline its like at 6.2, pretty low. What do you guys think?

hey isn't the se-r a 2.5 liter motor that only makes 175 hp? i don't know but isn't that a little weak? that would be the reason i don't like it. and the back looks a little funny too.

Nah you not an ass, I just wanted to see what other Honda people thought of it. I dont want to hear it from just other Nissan drivers. I like to hear from a wide range of people.

cool, well you now have the opinion of a Mazda driver
The cars are fast, but too heavy in my opinion. I like little nimble cars.

my friend have an SE-R, it have alot of torque when compare to civic or integra, the power band is smooth. Top End... not that great. 6 speeds is good but not great when shifting it ( when shift from 6th to 3rd ), good handling in those 17" when doing hard corning... i felt the front is too heavy... the weight dist. is not that good... of course all FF car have this problem.
I test drove it and in my opinion it felt kind of rough the shifting didn't feel smooth. I didn't really like the interior, I guess I went in with my expectations to high. I am not downing the car in anyway, that's just how I feel about it.
i was in the market to buy one, but i heard there were some problems like at 5000 miles, the tranny breaks down, thats what i heard form a couple of guys on another board
but personally, when i test drove the car i was really really impressed.
driving 50 mph on downhill sharp turns. no matter how hard i push it i cant seemed to make it slip. the braking power is great, the handling is just soooo nice, and the clutch is really smooth imo. i didnt like the Se-R, Spec V is much more fun.
interior wise:
i grew to like the Spec V's interior, but all in all the car seemed like more of a cartoonish car, coz i didn't feel aggressive at all.
0-60 under 7 seconds, more torque then horsepower, yummy
and with NISMO coming to the states, its only going to get better
i think ill just wait until the 2nd or 3rd generation of Se-r Spec V's, when all the bugs are cleaned out
hope my personal account helps
peace
