that motor has only 280hp ,which is little for a 3.2L v6 vtec motor, cos of the jap gov rules... I'm sure it can have gains more than +80hp with only i/h/e ans some tune....

The NSX-Rs actually dyno at about 310-320hp at the flywheel... they say the normal ones are 280hp for Japan but they are the same as the 290hp U.S. ones... and they also say the NSX-R only has a balanced/blueprinted engine that is otherwise identical but somehow it makes quite a bit more power... Honda lies, and I like it haha
+80hp w/bolt ons is definitely not possible, you've gotta be kidding me. The thing is already close to 100hp/L, you're not going to make an extra 25hp/L with bolt-ons. The new Science of Speed 3.8L stroker kit makes 360hp at the crank ferchrissakes.

What a damn shame that the nsx-r over heated at the very last minute of the race.......
If not for that it would have been very close for first place instead of third.
None the less im proud of the way it finished against cars that over powered it. I would love to see how the new nsx and maybe the R version would fare when it comes out. Or even the planned hsc might have done against these cars if it hadnt been canned.
So it took a V12 Lambo with 580hp, 4wd and TC to beat a 300ish hp v6 NSX-R. Albeit Gan is a fucking animal when it comes to driving. Still, where do I get an NSX-R?

That NSX-R was faster than every car on that track around the corners. If only it had allittle more horsepower for the straights it would dominate. This should all be remedied when Honda intoduces its V10 NSX. This is why I love Honda!

Being lightweight is a huge advantage in the curves. But it can hold you back in the straight as a light car can be very squirmish under hard accelerating and braking from high speeds. But as an overall package the NSX-r is second to none.
