'06 S with Orange wrench light<>Oil index @ 15?

Hey everyone... I did a search but wasn't able to find an answer to my question. I have an '06 and when driving home tonight I looked down and noticed that the oil life display was on and showing 15 as well as an orange wrench "lit up".. I pressed the trip a, trip b button and it went away. I started it later on and same thing when I turned it on... orange wrench and oil index screen under speedo.. assume that its telling me the oil "life" is low. The oil was just changed so I assume the system wasn't reset.

Can anyone tell me how to remedy this?

Thanks!

One more thing that I forgot... what weight oil does most everyone run, car is stock right now in Northern Ca., fairly mild climate.. I mean hot in summer and cool in winter but not extreme stop and go traffic where I'm at... Thanks again

Yeah it just means its time to change the oil. To reset it, hold down trip for 10 seconds until it starts blinking, hold down trip again for 5 seconds to reset.

I use 10/30 oil.

Put the key in the ignition and in the "OFF/LOCKED" Position.

- Hold the Trip/Reset Button on the right bottom corner of your gauge cluster
- Now - Turn key to the "ON" Position while continuing to hold the Trip/Reset Button till the light goes off.
***If the light is still at the "blinking" stage and not yet solid - continue to Hold the button for around 25-30 seconds just to make sure it resets. ***

^ I remember doing that with my ap1 but not sure if it works on the 06+ with the oil% guage.
