Car was keyed
Yes... sigh.. my car was keyed today after leaving my gf's place. It was done on both sides of the car from the front fender all the way to the rear.. the front hood and the trunk... I'm so mad right now.. i don't piss anyone off, even go out of my way to stay low key while driving around town... but yeah.. it had to happen.. but thought i'd vent out here to my fellow s2k owners....
would anyone know if this type of damage is covered by insurance? it would help me a lot.. thanks

Damn man that really blows monkey balls. So sorry to hear that, and on such a clean S. If you know who did it, make them pay for it. I think your insurance company will cover it, depends on what kinda of policy they have for something like that. If they do cover it, might make your insurance payments go up.

anytime you make a claim when there isnt anyone to blame, you're insurance company is going to rape you.

Some assbite recently did this same thing (both sides) to my
CRX and had to have the whole thing re-painted ($800).
Was even fairly certain I knew who'd done it - but had to
pay 4 it, regardless. I was livid when I saw it - reminds me
of the scene in "Pulp Fiction" after he'd found his Chevelle
keyed while in storage. Drawing & quartering is too good
for these kinds of people.

if you have comprehensive coverage it will be covered if you keep the total order under 1000 your premium wont go up but a pretty car like that youre gonna want a nice paint job back on it to retain full book value for resale.

You should have called the plice and filled a report. I had some stupid bitch put gorilla glue on my s2k and had to get the back repainted. I called the cops (they found who it was) and I pressed charges. We then settled outside of court for $700 cash in hand and I never heard from her again. But if you file a report you should be able to get your insurance to cover it

thats not true, you jsut need to make sure its under comrehensive (something not your fault at all basically)
ex. A tree falls onto your car during a horrible storm= Comprehensive
ex. You drive into a tree during a horrible storm= Not Comprehensive since its your fault
