Photos First "real" photo shoot of my S2k!

FINALLY!!! I got a really nice day and some time to take some decent photos of the car after it's been all ceaned up and polished.

Took the pics at the local country club (Brown Deer CC in Milwaukee WI)
I'll post a few of the nicer ones in the Official pic thread too.

Thanks guys!

The LEDs aren't suposed to be a knock off of anything. BUT a lot of people have indeed compared them to the R8, A8, and 911. The closest thing I have seen to what I have is on the Honda CR-Z concept car, which is almost scary identical! (there is a thread here titled Paralell Thoughts that shows a direct pictured comparison). Otherwise, I envisioned it just like it is, and built it. All the design work and fabrication was done myself with the exeption of the aluminum mounting rail which my boss machined for me.

Thanks!

I live in Wisconsin. Milwaukee area. Lousy place in my opinion. We only have two seasons: Winter and Construction.

No, I won't be getting coilovers. I might get them in the far future, but not now. I'm currently eyeing up a Vortech SC kit, Mugen PP, upgraded clutch, and cryo treated rear end. All will be installed by King MS, which is also just a few miles from where I live. I have some other problems that need to be taken care of with regard to my Daily driver. That is diverting some major funding too.. Plus I want to get one of the two cars paied off within the next few months.

cool idea with the leds but it wonder what it would look like if you intergrated it into the headlight somehow

Wow! I thought this was a dead post a while ago.

I actually planed to try and do something like that, kinda like LED eyebrows like the new BMWs and such, but after thinking about the fabrication of such a project, it became a far back burner project among the few that are already back there as well. I was hoping to do a custom LED tail light asembly along with it, but that got tossed aside. I got so many crazy ideas, and most of them get the one-way crumple-throw to the trash bin due to lack of time and money to support them no matter how cool they are.

Not sure if you know already, but this car went out in all her glory and might inside a tunnel a little over a month ago. I have a new S now, so I am starting fresh for the most part. Salvaged my exhaust and manifold, and most of my carbon bits. The wheels were toast. Saved one of my LED arays, so a V2 of them may be in store for future projects.
