Long shot curiosity

This is a long shot, but I was wondering if there were any SHO members with S2000s that live in the northern Illinois or Southern Wisconsin area.

I'm thinking about a meet sometime spring or summer, grill some burgers or brats. . . . go cruising. Maybe hit Chicago Indoor Racing or something.

Ha! I'm willing to drive for a while, but I only have a limmited amount of vacation. And a lot of it is already spoken for. I have two mountain trips planed, and a lot of little stuff that takes an extended weekend or something.

. . . but I do have attendance points that I can burn at work. I wasn't expecting this thing to be a weekend excursion, just a one-day deal.

I would have posted in the regonals forum, but the thread I found that delt with Wisconsin was a few years old. I don't know, this state just seems like a perpetual snooze.

I discovered that there is a tech-day meet around Racine WI. Aquatic from S2Ki is hosting a KBAB (Keith's Big Ass BBQ) on April 12th. See if you can get yourself on the list. I'm going to try to make it. (you can find it in the regional forums for UMW.)

Keep the top down, man! But one thing I've learned is that the harder it rains the faster you need to go to keep dry. I've gotten stuck in an instant downpour and had to use my shirt to dry off the interior on the side of the road.
