^hit the nail on the head.
Everyone should get one. Its one of the cheapest mods you can do to your car. The gasket was $50 and install cost me $130.

It all depends on what exhaust you put on it. I find that most exhausts give either neutral or loss in power based on my reserch in the subject. There are a few EXPENSIVE singles out there and duals like the Amuse or Tracy Sports exhaust that give gains, but I don't think a lot.
I got biggest gains from the TS-02 manifold. Mostly all in midrange.
That intake manidold gasket seems like a pretty slick mod. I'll have to look into that a bit more. Some of the numbers proffessed in terms of power gains seem a little optimistic, however if that is coupled with cold air going into the system, I wonder how much better it would do? The temp measurements the guy took and the differences between the two seem pretty substantial.
I don't exactly live in a "hot" climate, but temps can get into the upper 90s for a month or so. . . . then it starts the long and slow drop back to minus 10.
Thanks for the link/info!

Isnt Megan one of those "cheap power" brands that are total crap on the S2k? Kinda like DC Sports?

I'll admit I never looked at Megan. I've heard some lousy things about them with regard to the S, and see a lot of their stuff on Civics and Preludes. I've heard and read about WAY too many people being pissed off, and that's not an exageration, with DC Sports for me to even bother looking at their stuff.
(Hell, one guy at a local meet here said he took his off the day he put it on, and thew it in the dumpster! )

I'm a 5-axis articulating laser technician, and the lead-man for the 2nd shift laser department of a aerospace company. Sounds exciting and super high-tech, and sometimes it is, but it aint Lockheed or Boeing. And sometimes it is mind numbingly boring and/or extreamly frustrating with the crap you have to put up with in the engineering dpt.
We make parts for the hot section (combustor areas) of small gas-turbine engines. Lots of military contracts, and a few civilian ones.

I've seen it done to a T-bucket. Guy had a pretty slick setup, but the turbine produced so much torque (it was not thrust driven), that he had to make a special turbine brake to slow it down so he could shift gears. Otherwise he blew apart two trannys just in experimentation. Afterburners destroied his driveway shrubs too.
Most of our engines are a tad too big for our car. But some of the smaller ones might be able to be shoehorned in. They produce about 1,000 hp+/- a few by my understanding. I don't know how much that would translate into thrust. The entier exhaust port would need to be redesigned.
What I WOULD be able to do is snag some scrap metal for some slick exhaust mods. We work with Inconel, Hastalloy, and Haynes (not the underwear) alloy all the time. I know that the famous Italian supercar builder Pagani offers an Inconel exhaust manifold for a premium option. The alloy is extremely heat resistant so it can be made paper thin and still hold togeather in 1,000 degree heat. The same can't be said for the components around it though. We do some cool proccess that involve creating tiny air holes around a part that when air flows through it at a high velocety, it sucks cooler outside air in and uses that thin layer of cool air as a heat barrier. We can also add ceramic heat barrier coatings to our parts and then augment that with the effusion holes.
