powder coating rims

i drive a silver 03 s2000 and im considering getting my stock rims powdercoated black and i got quotes 350 total, do you think its a good idea and how will it look... just looking for some opinions

depends on how they'll contrast with the color of your car, and what shade of black you end up goin with as to how they'll ultimately look.

I had it done to the SH wheels I put on my Prelude... red car, black rims... I thought it looked hot as hell lol. Well... until you got close to it and realized the car's paint was five different shades of red... and then it just looked like shit with nice wheels. :/

But yeah... if it's done well by a professional, it'll look good, I would think. Cosmetic mods are all just personal taste, so it's really up to you

yea, i agree with clone.
professionally powder coated looks good.
and if you decide against powder coat, gun metal's always a good color on a rim to fall back on.
