Devil May Cry 4 Enhanced for PC
Devil May Cry 4 Enhanced for PC
This latest version of the game will feature "Legendary Dark Knight Mode," which will apparently let you control Batman (not really) along with enhanced visualization options.
Posted by David Radd on Wednesday, April 23, 2008
Capcom announced today details for the PC version of Devil May Cry 4. There will be a demo of the game released before the full game becomes available in Summer 2008. Devil May Cry 4 is already a hit on consoles, having shipped over 2 million copies worldwide.
Devil May Cry 4 on PC will feature enhanced visualization, including options to run cut scenes up to 120 frames per second. There will also be a new Turbo mode that ramps up the game's speed and a Legendary Dark Knight Mode that will use the CPU power of advanced PCs to load the screen with enemies. Finally, some enemy locations have also been mixed up for this release.

There are some games that simply dont translate onto the PC platform, DMC in my opinion is one of those. Even with easy to connect USB controllers, you are still sitting in front of a small screen playing this ish (in most cases). Certain games are tailored to me spreading my ass out on a sofa, hitting bingers and slaying demons, not hunched over in a chair...
RTS and RPG games are good on the comp, everthing else for me feels better on a console, even FPS

Well it really just comes down to preference, but I would mostly agree with your opinion.
I also prefer to sit on a nice couch playing on a large HD television, but that's just me.

The control you get from a mouse and wheel combo is unbeatable, headshots galore. that is really the only edge in FPS for PC, but like you said, its just preference...

Mouse/keyboard is superior for FPS and RTS, but that's about where the advantage ends.
Once you are used to analog controls it's not that big of a deal. Additionally, most console shooters incorporate some degree of auto aim to cut down the gap.

New video cards usually have HDTV out ports, so some might be able to run it on their TV. I don't have an HDTV and playing shit on the 360 you can tell how bad the tv sucks, can't read text ect. Oh well got the tv for free. I wouldn't play DMC on PC.

That's true.
I can actually run my laptop on my 32" LCD via HDMI but it doesn't look the greatest.

The Dell monitors we carry suck. We only carry up to 22" in Dell though.
