So who is getting GRID?!?
I just pre order it from amazon for PC for 39.99 even. I download the demo and it played real smooth and looks nice on my old system and I love the drifting in the game. Plus, you get to race on the mountains in Japan, which I could have done in Tokyo Extreme Racer Drift, but it does not look as nice tho. Hopefully, there will be some good mod support on the pc for this game.
So who else is getting it?

I'll definitely be picking this game up, but it's another one of those that falls into the "when I have time," category.

Mods: JDM H22a Swap, Greddy SS Header, Greddy SP Cat Back, Car Sound highflow Cat, Skunk2 Cam gears (tuned), Light weight Flywheel, AEM CAI and Short Ram (I switch for different things). ON THE WAY: JUN Valve Train, Jun High Comp Pistons and JUN Flywheel

I'm passing. I'm still playing Burnout on a regular basis, and it's getting tons of updates between now and November.
By the time November hits, GT5P will get it's second update with new tracks, cars, and possibly damage.
I just don't see a need for me to pick up this game when I have an already superior arcade racer two great sims to play (GT5P and Forza 2). It just didn't sell me at all in the Demo.

It's kinda the same for me... the game looks fun, but at this point I can't justify the purchase. Would seem like an "unnecessary pick up," of sorts.

Pretty much dead on. Between GT5P and Forza 2, there will be no time for any other racer. Also with MGS4 coming out soon, a lot of other games will be collective dust.

I'll be getting it, the drifting is the best ever and it has touge which should be fun too. I need a new game to play with my G25.

There's only one game I'm getting this month(unless I get a PSP) and that's MGS4. After that, I'll likely not buy another game until Spore or LittleBigPlanet (which ever comes first and then the other one after that).
Maybe, MAYBE, if the pricing is right and I'm bored enough during the wait, I'll pick up Heavenly Sword as I really enjoyed it through the rental. The last battle was a bitch :-p
