How many of you own one? Does yours have dead pixels? If so what did you do about it? Did you take it back to the store or send it to Sony, or did you just ignore it?
I already own a PSP but I am debating on whether or not I should get another one and keep it unopened and sell it later on. I know when the next batch comes out without the spiderman movie there will be poeple who still want it. What do you think I should do?
My friend supposedly returned 5 of them before he got one without dead pixels. And i guess he really had to fight each time since the manual says dead pixels should be expected and are not covered by warranty .
This is what he told me i have no idea. A few people i have seen get them with no dead pixels.
The nintendo DS had this problem too

my Gameboy SP had one stuck pixel, but it was smack in the middle and bothered the crap out of me.
since the screen is not like a notebook I could not massage it so treat it

its not in such demand to keep it sealed, many places still have the first batch, places that dont include gamestop, ebgames, or any only video game store
so keepign it would come to a loss in profit most likely later on especially since peopel cant return a dead pixle system bought off u
also if u think this is bad go to teh gamespot forums for psp about every other 5 minutes, there are new posts about this topic, it gets annoying but hey what can u say, my day is better whn i read about people who try to open the plastic around the umd, or the one guy who's friend dropped a 15lb weigth on ihis psp cuz he couldnt curl it i guess

If someone bought it off me they would be able to return it, there is a 30 day warranty at the store, there is also a 1 year warranty with Sony and I could also purchase a replacement plan on it at Circuit city which will work at any Circuit city.
yea u can do all that but they are nto in that great of demand, why pay 250 plus shipping for somehting at a store thats 250 and not to many places are sold out like i stated
i would just keep it, its worth it to keep it, i for one wish i had one dead pixels or not
, but mine will be here eventually
