I got to race a 300c SRT-8 today which was a treat because they are rare and usually owned by older people who wont race. I was surprised how fast the fucker was. He got me off the line..FWD for the birds especially against a car with over 400 hp and traction control. By the time I started grabbing my front bumper was at the middle of his car. But that was all he would get and it didnt last long. By end of first I had gained it back plus maybe 1-2 feet. I noticed that I really gained alot of ground every time the srt-8 shifted gears. I put the most on him through 3rd gear. I stoped at around 90mph which is the top of thrid for me. I killed him by about car length. Only mod to his car he said was an intake. 300c srt-8 looks tight and has some balls. Only problem is only a few know what an srt-8 is vs a 300c which everyone has and are way to played out.

I didn't realize till after he passed me and hit his hazards that I was racing him. His girl looked so happy that her man was such a badass. I caught up and waited for him to jump on it again, and of course he did. I paced him for a few seconds while he was giving it all he had and gave the "after you" gesture and noted his girl was looking at me. I playfully shrugged like he was being nice and letting me ahead of him and put the hammer down. After a few buslengths and way too fast for public streets I let off. He got next to me at a light and I rolled down my window and asked if he wanted to try it from a dig. He and his girl wouldn't even look at me now, he just rolled his window up. ROFL

I didn't realize till after he passed me and hit his hazards that I was racing him. His girl looked so happy that her man was such a badass. I caught up and waited for him to jump on it again, and of course he did. Haha thats awesome man. When I finally get my ass outa college and into a career C5's should be cheaper and be my hatch's replacement for the street. I'll keep the hatch for go-karting around at Button Willow and auo-x though.
He's not Japanese, he was referring to the languages he can speak. He's capable of speaking English, can probably curse and ask for a beer in Spanish and has heard his girl moan in Japanese in bed

similar thing happened to me while i was driving my fine ass friend claudia home about 2 weeks ago. some dude in an accord with ebay muffler and ebay springs gets on my ass. keep in mind i have a nasty boost leak that only lets me spool up to 7 psi mind you. but he gets on my ass and riding me in and out of third. i just drop it into 4th gear and give it 75% throttle (afc told me) and walked him like nobody's business with a full trunk and her crap in the back. and she is 5ft 10. after i put about 6 lengths on him. i move over to the right lane and i tell claudia here comes the ricer flyby. what do you know he goes zooming by a mach 10 then puts the breaks on. she just laughs and we keep on driving
