high speed hwy run
the first run was with a cross fire(i read they had v-6 w/215h 230tq). he was in front of me and a civic hatch with fart can holding up the fast lane. so me and the civic finally get him to let us pass and i realize that the civic must have just the auto zone muffler for his mods so i zoom pass him at a 100. and start to cruise about 95 as he backs off. and a few minutes later i see the cross fire coming up fast so i take a good look ahead and see clear sailing and drop it down to 4th(at 80) and wait. when he's up on my ass i run it up to 125 and walk on him. but i realize he just wants to high speed run so we cruise 125-130 and i keep dropping into 4th whenever we slow to 80-90 and walk on him. it was fun safe high speed cruising. later that evening when i'm back on the hwy south bound i see a sol ahead and he slows down and guns it while blowing black smoke all over me, it kinda sucked as i had my top down and the vent open. n e way we hit a clear spot and i roll up beside him in 4th at about 80 and we both hit it and i walk on him pretty bad up to 120. guess he didn't have the b16 w/ n e mods. so i slow up and let him catch up and he smiles over with a thumbs up, nice kid, fun little run. i was hoping he wasn't a modded b16 and hand me my ass or maybe his motor wasn't running right. not condoning what i do just sharing a story.
