R32 vs Neon

It was raining pretty heavily and I was stopped at traffic light just waiting for it to turn green in my stock 04 VW R32. My buddy gets up next to me in his bone stock 04 Srt4 and wants to race. I was like are you sure? The light turns green and I rev to 4k, turn the ESP off, and punch it. The Neon just could not even compete in any way possible. I pulled a football field on him and then let off. The tried to race again. Same result. .

Next day we were driving and the highway, and he pulls up next to me at around 80mph. I floor it and go thru 4th to 5th to 6th. He only had to go 4th to 5th. End result was his victory with my nose on his rear bumper. Sucks to lose to a Neon, but the mods will come and fix that little problem.

I added the 18lb SSR wheels and a Apex stainless steel cone filter, nothing else. We did a 60mph HWY roll and dropped in 4th gear, the tach read 5k rpm. What happened surprised me, it was DEAD even all the way, nobody pulled an inch on anyone. I was surprised to say the least.
