Edit: I'm getting some flak on these posts from members that don't understand why I posted these stories. Just to clarify, I'm NOT trying to brag! I'm posting this story and video because I find it humorous...
It has been a rather slow fall season for my usual 'cruising' routine with a couple of buds, the once rice laden sonic no longer seems to be the favored hang out spot for the likes (they're hiding from me ), so we decided to head into the adjacent city which has a new and really nice outdoor mall. We chilled in the parking lot for some time just shooting the shit, and suddenly our hopes where realized, this rather crappy looking accord with one of the loudest fart cannons you'll ever hear sees us as he's pulling out from the parking lot, he immediately does the famous rev-up-to-the-red-line-so-they-can-be-scurrd routine , that's when I told my buddies to jump in their car and my cameraman to "get ready for some rice killing action"... We start heading out the same way the accord pulled out, he got in the turning lane to go back to the main road and, like it was destiny, the light in front of him turns red. As I'm positioning myself behind him he starts to rev again, my cameraman is commenting on what we're about to do . As we're sitting behind, we notice a female figure in the passenger seat reaching for something in the back seat, my assumption is that he was trying to impress her... and that he's a dumbass. The light turns green and he tries to nail it but the accord's seemingly cut spring suspension cannot take the turn fast enough, so I get on his right side and pass it leaving him a couple car lenghts behind... enough right? nooo not for Mr. Riceboy, he gets on my left lane and I notice he's trying to pass me frantically... I let him get close and then open the throttle and leave him about 4 car lenghts behind, he gets the clue now I'm sure... not really. The light ahead turns red as I approach it from a distance, coasting down to it, he on the other hand is flying down trying to catch up, he had to slam on his brakes to achieve a stop. My frame of mind now is I'm going to race him from this stop, maybe roll the window down and talk a little smack, but as I slowed down to pit on his position the light turned green, he was obviously ready for a head start because all you can hear is tires squealing, but I didn't worry one bit and just thought "ok, time to play for real". I dropped it in 2nd and let the t28 do it's fast spooling magic through 3rd and by the time I shut down he was so far back I could not count the car lengths, whatever the distance was it would have to be counted by bus lengths instead ... but hold on folks that's not all! we cannot have that without the typical 'flyby' and I called that one too as my cameraman caught it.
Umm.... street racing is retarded. No offense man, but can't you find something better to do then racing cars you know damn well you are faster then?
Edit: I watched the video, all he had was an exhaust... he must be the biggest ricer in the world
Oh god please spare me the lecture, I've heard that a million times. Answer's no, around here there really isn't anything better to do, plus it's my stress relief. Little unkown fact to you is I also race cars with twice, sometimes more, the power my car has And yes he was a ricer, it's the attitude not just the car.
HERE: I posted this over a year ago, been doing it for a long time with no incident... Superhonda is the only place people need me to explain myself about this

if the cops catch u raceing twice in florida you will lose youre car.do it legal there is enough tracks.
I know, they told me on a couple of ocassions, then they taught me how to 'do it right'... I also don't drag race and there are no circuit tracks anywhere near.
I know where you're coming from though, I'm not saying I should be exempt from law and I also hate it when idiots are just being themselves out in the road, endangering others in the process, I support the police on those instances and am glad they're there to catch them.
youd be surprised how popular a lot of things are. the market for sleeper products is huge since most states treat you like a jew in 1943 poland if youre a ricer
There's something about Accords that make their owners think they're the shit. I thought my 99 DX was so awesome when I got it and my friend talks about how fast his 97 LX is.
When you describe the event, it makes watching the video so much more interesting
Now don't get me wrong, some accords are relatively decent in terms of speed. One time I was just cruising with a friend going about 45mph and this newer stock accord V6 pulls up to me, I didn't think anything of it but he wanted to race, when we went he kept up pretty good, that totally caught me by surprise, I didn't beat him as bad as I thought I would... even on a heavier car those 250+ horses show
