Did a search but found nothing pertaining to accords. Im looking into buying some slicks and wheels to go with it. I would like some suggestions on what size/type wheel and size/type slick to go with. I know it has a lot to do gearing and stuff so heres a quick rundown of my setup:
1995 accord with a boosted F22B DOHC making 300whp on low boost. High boost runs werent done yet but i should be in the 400s easy. Im using the F22 tranny with a quaife lsd.
Any help appreciated....thanx in advance.
Your like the luckiest fool I've ever known.... sand storm= free paint and windows.... now you bust your value keeper and dont bust a hole in your piston just at the time you pull it and rebuild...........
i mean damyn if i was you id go by and get a lotto ticket!!
Yes i do have stock axles and ill prolly be getting some DSS in the future but i need to educate myself on slicks. I dont know what works and doesnt work cuz i dont know any accords running slicks!

well you can run slicks on any car. i had some lenzo's on my CRX. 13x8x24 with MH's rubber. They worked fine. Im not usre what u want to know.
*upgrade axels*
Thats exactly what i mean.......i know u can run slicks on any car....but everyone i know run them on integras, crx's and civics. I doubt my car will use the same size as those cars.
I'd go with the smallest wheel that can clear your brakes and then some high profile slicks , the smaller the wheel the more "wrinkle wall" effect it will have. But low 20" slicks will do fine. There is a guy up in Canada at the track we go to with a 10 second street driven civic running 28" M&H slicks and he brakes aftermarket axles all the time, just learn how to launch good, try to get some load on the wheels before you dump it. If you shallow-stage you can give yourself just alittle room to rollout before the green kinda' slow and then punch it so you won't break axles all the time.

You could jam a 13 inch wheel in there...and I would use a 24" slick..with that you should be alright...as far as axles go..its a toss up really..I know a guy with a 10 sec all motor crx that runs stock axles and has never broken one...then I know a guy with a all motor integra that runs low 13's that snapped an axles off right at the hub. I run lenso 13 inches slicks with M&H 22x8's with stock axles and I have never broken one..so..who knows..

Thanx for the response guys. Wassup itr206! long time no speak.
I just got an email from dlb1994 and he runs 26-15-8.5 and he does 11's. He also runs stock axles and launches off the 2-step at 4800rpm making about 5psi at launch.
Ive heard that 26's might be too big tho.
