A KY man got killed at my local dragstrip. - Honda Forum / Acura Forum

A guy got killed at the track , he was from KY in a Model A Sedan just after the traps. They say his brakes locked up and the car did end over end rolls. He had a helmet on and wasn't belted in when they got to him. Channel 9 was there.

Damn. That sucks. You couldn't pay me enough to get in a car that old at the dragstrip. Modern safety equipment > death.

Yeah i know seriously a model a? now thats old, so oldm its when they used letters to specify cars. lol

I'd be scared as well to run a car that old. I also keep my seatbelt on until I turn my car off in the pits. There's always the risk of getting rear-ended at the timeslip booth, backed into by a trailer etc.
