Friday February 15th, 2002
Commentator Murray Walker announced on Friday that he will return to the microphone for the 2002 season to voice mobile phone company Orange's Grands Prix reviews.
Walker retired as ITV's Formula One commentator at the end of last season, but announced on Friday that he will provide the voice for Orange's review of each race for the new campaign.
Walker said: "It's fantastic to be back in Formula One with Orange and I'm ready to go, go, go."
A review of each race will be available on Orange's 177 service immediately after all 17 Grands Prix, beginning with the season-opening Australian Grand Prix on March 3rd.
Miles Pearce, multimedia manager at Orange, said: "Murray's knowledge of Formula One, coupled with his unique and much loved style, will make race reviews both informative and entertaining for fans everywhere."
