The new Double R's are looking sexy,
The 07 600RR got a make-over looks a little similiar to its big brother 1000RR, but the 07 1000RR still looks the same as the 06 model, not that much of a change fairing wise. Still have not read the specs yet.

I rode one for like a day and a half. it's the first 600 I've been on, and while I loved the performance, I hated the seat. It made my legs hurt after a while cause the corners dug into my leg.

The other thing I noticed, and I assume this is pretty consistant with all bikes like this, the pipe under the seat got uncomfortably warm sometimes. I live in phoenix, so in the summer this could be a major problem. I heard about a guy that took the same bike to lake havasu (about a 3.5 hour ride each way) with his girlfriend on the back. Her legs were actually burnt.

If it was my bike, I'd be finding some way to insulate that better, or just change exhausts. oh, and get rid of the stupid light tree under the tail.

Wait, you rode an 07? I thought they weren't gonna be out til mid of next year..

Most 600's dont have a comfortable seat, but the rr's for sure have been known for their plank-of-wood seat. Most undertail exhausts do heat up the seat a lot.

no, now that I look closer I'm pretty sure it was an 06. my mistake

Seems like the gsx-r seats aren't too bad, but I don't like them as much cause they're shorter. I'm a little taller and like the feel better of a taller bike. I think I'm gonna end up getting an R1 when I unload the bike i've got now. That seat isn't too bad, and I really like the black on black...
