Maintance(have all receipts and keep very detailed records):
New Dunlop 207 front and rear tires
New OEM Honda air filter and pre-filter
New OEM NGK spark plugs
New battery
Oil changes every 2,000 miles with OEM Honda filter and Honda oil
Clean/Lube chain every 250 miles
Recently flushed radiator fluid, added Water Wetter
Recently Flushed gas tank

Free Parts i'll throw in: new OEM Honda Service manual, the ones the honda tech's use, cost me 70$, battleax front tire(lots of side tread, middle is worn but not completely gone), stock chain and sprockets, NGK spark plugs, battery

i'd like to get 3,500$, i have put a considerable amount more than that into it but thats what i got the salvaged gsxr for so thats what i would like to get... anyone intersted can reply here, or email me at dellasol1320@aol.com

congrats on the gixxer. good luck on selling the CBR in the winter. i tried selling my FZR in the winter and it didn't sell until FEB, and that was when i was living in Austin, TX. what really worked for me was cycletrader.com. you can get a free add that will show just the make and the year along with contact info, but if you purchase a *feature*, i purchased a blue background for $5 or sumthin cheap and i put a whole paragraph on the bike including a homepage that i created to show more pics and info on the bike. the bike sold within one week after i put it on cycletrader Feb '01. i also bought my first R1 from an ad in cycletrader.com. i bought a '00 R1 from a dealer in Tennessee and shipping only cost me $300. After i moved to Connecticut (and the R1 got stolen), i bought my '02 R1 from a guy in PA. my point is people who are in the market to buy a bike will be searching on cycletrader, and not just trolling around forum classifieds. i don't work for cycletrader, but as a consumer that has used their services, have never been disappointed.

yea i'm not havin too much luck selling it so far, its for sale on a few board's classifieds and in the trading post... i had thought about cycletrader.com, i have that free ad on there but i really need one of the pay ads... i thought about e-bay but i'm not a seller on there and i had heard getting people to actually pay after they win can be a pain... i constantly look on cycletrader, thats where i got the gixxer, i was just looking at what deals were out there, wasn't even in the market for a bike but saw it and was like if that hasn't sold already i've got to jump on it
