Um... all 2 strokes have a hit. Maybe you mean adding a hit to a four stroke? Its the thumpers that have no hit. The pingers as all mid and top. My KX has a killer hit at about 6500 rpm, and pulls strong thru 10000, where the power starts to drop off.

Anyway... a friend of mine and I are dumping the engine on his 01 CR250 for a 91 CR500 engine. Making my own CR500AF...

i realize that... im a 2stroker til they die but ppl say " ohhhh 4 strokes hit soo much harder" ........BS you want a lowend pull gear it down or learn how to ride simple as that 4 strokes have no feeling to me... the ones i rode just went.... whereas a 2 stroke i can feel the bike

you guys wanna know anything about the cr500s ask me, i own one and will never ever get a small bike again. they dont make gold pipes anymore. the best pipe for the bikes is the burly if you can still find it.

i have yet to find a bike 2 or 4 stroke that even remotly comes close to the low end power of my 500. i have ridden modified 450r's totally done up 250's even a few 404 banshees and my 500 pulls better off the line than any of them. im still working on the top end pull though cause my friends banshee has some mean mean top end to it and i cant have someone else with a smaller engine having more power than me.

it doesnt take boreing out a 500 to make it fast, mine is stock bore hell i had the original piston in it till this year, that means the piston was 10yrs old. not bad for reliability. as far as kicking it over, just grow some balls and kick it like a man.

anyways http://www.trickracing1.com/The%20Fi...%201000cc.html when i get bored with the stock motor, mate this to the AF and you have a total monster

o well if you guys got any question or if your in the area and want to ride a 500 let me know i always love the looks on thier faces the first time they hit the throttle alittle bit and then i take em for a ride through the woods.
