Unhappy HELP! My 92 Nighthawk Headlight Stopped Working!!?!?!?!

my 92 nighthawk 750's headlight just stopped working...

I checked the fuses, fine, replaced the bulb, no dice (plus old bulb doesn't look burnt out). I have taken some stuff off and apart to trace the wiring but can't find anything wrong - BUT, the rear brakelight does NOT work when gripping the front-brake handle (it does work for the rear brake pedal)... could the headlight be wired in or related to the front brake handle?

please help - I can't ride past dark now and that sucks!!!

any help or wiring diagrams or ideas would be greatly appreciated...

Thanks!

GW

The best I could find for you was here:
http://www.hondanighthawks.net/79cb650wdgr.pdf

located on this page
http://hondanighthawks.net/repair.htm

but really, you should pick up a service manual for that bike, so you at least have the basics, like torque specs and fluid levels. Check your grounds, they're the first to go.

... upon further investigation, it seems like the nighthawk does have wiring problems. Since your brakelight is having problems, it might be in the throttle control assembly (starter switch)

Good luck.
