So I've always liked the Shoei duhamel replica helmet, but when they actually made them I was never in a position to get a new helmet. So finally when i'm ready, they discontinue them. I've been looking for a while and one in the right size and color was put on ebay. I got outbid Anyway, just wanted to share my saddness with everyone
What do you ride H22lude? There are plenty of other attractive RF-1000 lids out there than that one...i personally like the "Badge" and Diabolic 2 lids...just a thought....

I used to ride a 600rr, i'm between bikes right now, saving up and such. I figured I'd buy a new helmet, since my current one is 2-3 years old, to curb my appetite a little though i'm sure it will certainly only worsen it.
Yea i know there are other ones, but I sort of fell in love with it, you know how that goes, and i've always had an interest to get it. I tend to like more flashly helmets, though not like Suomy flashy. I'm leaning towards the joust, but not sure. Shoei's fit me well, and the rf-1000's vent nicely for here in florida so thats why i'm sorta sticking with them. Do you have any experience with the X-11's? any other suggestions?
X-11 is a high end helmet, one of the best in the market... it is vented better but in return, you get a lot of windnoise through the helmet as well...it weighs a little less than the RF1000 and the shell design is pretty much the same. I don't see the means to pay 600 for that helmet when the 1000 will protect you just fine..
