Just got back from the Motorcycle Show

My city's only a million strong, so the show's probably no where near the size of the shows down in the states or in other canadian cities.. Anyways, I wasn't impressed with the show, it was basically a huge dealership, nothing on aftermarket things and the only thing that was raffled was a Kawi 500R..

Anyways, I got to see all the new bikes from every manufacturer.. and my personal favorites are the new 600RR, and the new R1/R6..

I sat on the 999 and dam, i want one.. I sat on all the 600s and the only one that I could actually duck walk with was the dam Kawi ZX6 and the CBR600.. Looks like i'll have to get it lowered if I was going to get the new GSXR..

Anyone else checked out the new bikes?

Sorry no pics, my buddies brought a camera and only took 1 picture, dumbasses : : :

atleast you get a bike show... we have one car show here a year, the highlight of it is usually a like 94' ferrari that some guy from PA always puts up for exhibition with ropes all around it, so you can tell how sorry it must be... but last year they actually had a 360 modena, 550 maranello and a bugatti i believe... iwould love to go to a bike exhibition though

i was at the NYC motorcycle show this past weekend and it was way more crowded than it was 10 years ago when i last went. it was alright. i thought the rear of the new cbr600rr looked like a huge a$$hole, literally. new gixxers are even uglier upclose. met a track school that teaches at poconos, can't wait for the weather to get warmer. it sux that they have the bike show in the winter. i wouldv loved to ride my bike to the show. i didn't really go there to see the new bikes, i went for the massive accessories dealers, got a pair of blue/black racing gloves w/the kevlar knuckles for $35. almost bought an arai okada carry-over model for $450, but they didn't have my size. oh and there were a few hotties there too, but they all looked skanky, unlike the umbrella girls at the races. next yr i'll go early to avoid the crowds...

yea really... when i was looking for a helmet i heard they were coming out with a replica of his so i thought about waiting for it, then i realized everyone will get it so i wanted something a little more different, then when i saw the design i was glad i didn't hold my breath... i really wanted the red/orange/flourescent yellow colin edwards but that color was dropped for 02'

part of me says its ugly and part of me says its sweet, the pic doesn't do it justice as camera's never capture yellow's right, its the exact same color as the yellow on my cbr

heres the color i got, which goes with the gixxer much better

YEAH i dont know why they discontinued the black/white/gray replica too......that color matches the 954 and other gray bikes perfectly
