The CBR was a total loss, got pics of it new and at the wreck scene along with the damaged gear sucj as Shoei RF1000 that saved my life. I'll spare you any pics of the blood, scars, road rash and my spleen. I lost it and 5 liters of blood, all of it, nice helicopter ride, nobody called 911 until my family arrived. I don't know what happened nor how long I laid there.
Somebody asked about Honda V4s and V5s. That pic of the RC211 V5 is the best I've seen. Don't have any pics of the Honda V3 that may be used in 2007 MotoGP 800cc limit to reduce their speeds. GP are running 210 + now, tires can't take it. Race bikes are 240+ hp now ? Just trying to share, don't mean to step on any toes with sponsors or retailers on this site. I'm looking for parts and in a hurry, not much response so far but know you all are busy playing with your awesome cars.
For a 5 spd auto, what's THE best set of pedals ? I want aluminum with red accents. Ricer ? I don't care, maybe I'll give up bikes, safer, get back into cars and put a blower/turbo/nitrous on the Accord, who knows. Would make my wife vey happy if I gained two more wheels under me while at speed, no need for leathers, airbags and metal around you, vehicle stands up on it's own when parked, etc...
I just wanted to share the passion I have for all things Honda. Somebody didn't seem aware there is indeed a V4 bike with VTEC. There is, 800 cc VFR or Interceptor in the states that came out in 2002 and is still going strong. Probably the best ST m/c ever made. Rumours are a V5 street bike next year.
1000 or 800 cc VFR or CBR. I'll get one and post a real pic of the real bike that I really own and really ride if so.
Hell, I'll even post a real pic of my wifes real V4 750 cc Honda Magna, no vtec, just staight 4 valve engine. Was the fastest cruiser until the HD V-Rod came out. Magna will run 12.2 1/4 miles stock.
Oh, why were the pics deleted you ask ? My wife for some strange reason hates all motorcylces now and did it. The day I got my CBR1000RR I was going to pick up a brand new 2004 red Honda S2000 and said piss on it. Too much money, CBR = 11K, S2000 = 32K, CBR somewhat faster, brakes better, handles better, and 32K = 3 of them. I took the CBR. I regret that now, 3 weeks/1116 miles later I'm in the ER dying. July 17th 2004 I'm reborned. She has not ride and will not ride since. 2001 Magna in the garage with 6000 miles on it, I don't do cruisers but too attached to it and her to sell the damn thing.
I pray none of you experience this. The idiots out there on their cell phones in the cars kill bikers every day. You wreck on a bike you kill yourself. You wreck in a car and you can kills lots of people. Be safe my friends, 2 or 4 wheel ones.
