You're out of your mind enfield...a Busa is made for one thing and one thing only...really FAT people...
People buy bikes for different reasons, I prefer to ride twisted mountain roads...a Busa is good for pure straight line speed...if you have to get a more powerful bike, get the best of both worlds...2005 GSXR-1000...it runs high 9's stock..and can easily whoop up on the Busa with a few upgrades...and looks 20X better...

The Gixxer 1k is badass! I've never cared much for the Busa's long low wheel base and heft. It's great for 9 secs. though. For some reason since I can remember there has been this fear amongst mostly newbies in the motorcycle riding community of big displacement machines. It's not a Busa but I think the current 1k Ninja gives you a lot of big power but less weight.

don't do it Sonny!
you're itchin for more speed upgrade to R1, better yet see if you can take a Honda RC-51 for a ride. There are lots of good bikes out there, don't settle till you've tried few.
Btw. fuck a 996, maintainence sucks ass, if you want to go Italian get Aprillia RSV instead.
