Ninja 650

From what i've dug up its supposed to be made to compete with Suzuki's SV650s.

What are your all opinions on it?

Quote:
Ninja® 650R - Kawasaki’s Ninja 650R breaks new ground with broad appeal and innovative design. A combination of versatility, performance and style, this motorcycle knows no boundaries in terms of rider appeal.

The very compact liquid-cooled, DOHC, 8-valve 649cc Parallel Twin with fuel injection delivers a smooth responsiveness that is tuned for rider-friendly power characteristics—especially in the low and medium rpm ranges that will inspire confidence in new motorcyclists.

While the powerplant on this new Ninja model is compact, it is anything but minimal in its output.

Stopping power for this model is handled by triple petal-disc brakes that look as good as they perform. The attractive six-spoke supersport-style wheels give the 650R a “light” look while reducing unsprung weight.

The flowing bodywork includes a slim tail cowl with flush-surface tail lamp lens giving it a slim, agile appearance from the rear. Available late 2005.

definately looks like Kawi's version of SV650.

V-twin...low end power/torque'd powerband....eh not a big fan but I'm sure a newb rider would enjoy it though.
