im wanting to get a bike.. but i was wondering what are the prices for a reliable bike? and insurance?

mainly for work and back.. trying to stick with honda

if you are thinking sportbike, any of the older F models are great. They can be had for pretty cheap depending on how old. anywhere from $2000 to $6000 for newer ones. Mileage isn't a big deal unless its excessive, honda bikes run forever.

get liability only with hit & run coverage. i paid a little over $300 a year for insurance for my SV650.

expect to pay 4-6k for a late model low mileage perfect condition used 600.

personally, go for the 02-03 RC51 and pay around 6-6.5k. most i've seen already have pipes and power commanders.

i went to a local Yamaha dealer and found a nice bike and im thinking about buying it.. its the 2007 Yamaha YZF600R brand new.. its pretty nice what do you guys think? $69 a month isn't bad

I just recently bought a 1999 CBR with 4000 miles for a little over 4 grand. Body was cleaner than fresh virgin pussy. Beware of the bikes that are not fuel injected though, you have to mantain them or you'll pay. Hope this helps ya. Love my bike.

pay cash, b/c full coverage insurance is going to be 50% of the cost of the bike (depending on how old you are and your driving record).

go with the liability only with hit-n-run coverage.

is that for there yamaha credit card? if so i WOULD NOT do that. Yea the payment is low but the interest is crazy. my buddy did it on his jet ski when i bought my cbr through american honda. He has great credit..just the card sucks. Now he's trying to refinance though a bank.
