Anyone play Racketball??
Hey there, i just moved into an apartment and they have racketball courts, which i had never played before. Well i went and bought a racket and some balls and ive been playing for the past week. Im not too sure on the rules but i just have fun knocking the crap out of that ball. Anyone know like what the rules are and how exactly ur sposed to play it?
my dad was second in the nation in doubles 2 years in a row like 5 years ago. i dont really know what to tell you about the rules...on the serve, it has to hit the front wall without hitting the ceiling or the sides first and land behind the dotted line but before the wall. if it does any of those things, you get a second serve. if you mess up again, it is the other persons serve. you can only serve in the box like 20 feet wide and 5 feet long. the lines on the side of this box are for doubles play, and shouldnt be of worry to you. you have 2 games to 15, and a tiebreaker to 11. usually me and my brother just play one game to 21, which is easier and less tiring. after the serve, you basically just keep rallying until one person misses. you can do normal style, which is just single bounce - if the ball bounces twice before you hitting it, whether it hits the back wall or not, the ball is dead and a point goes to him if he served or he gets to serve if you served. double bounce is the same thing with just one more bounce. in multibounce, the ball can bounce as many times as it wants BEFORE it hits the front wall. i would suggest multibounce for you while you are still learning. if you have any more questions, just ask, or ask someone who knows more around you.
