Develop Chest Quicker?
Now i was just curious about this, it prolly wouldnt work, but is there like a type of workout that will develop your chest faster than normal weight training, like lifting more or isolating that certain area? I wanted to get my chest more defined, get rid of da man boobies you know. So is there a type of workout that will do that faster than a regular workout? Or is the regular workout the best way. Sorry if this is a newbish question, I was just curious. Any help would be great. And if this has bee answered before, my apologies for not seeing it. Ill post what my normal chest workout is to see if it needs tweaking.
i dont quite understand how you can incline 70lb dumbells 12 times. But can only bench 150 8 times. If you can put up 70 12 times with dumbells. You should be putting up more than 180 at a mininium of 6 reps,on flat that is. Also i would incorporate decline. I also am puzzled as to how your doing flys with 150lbs. Man boob= gyno, you might need surgery for that. Cardio is the best way to reduce bodyfat.

wrong bruddah. diet is the best way to reduce body fat....and lifting weights/dance/mtn biking.
cardio/ running is bad for your body. think of all the poundin on the knees when someone runs....ouch. I perfer to do wheelie and stoppies all day for my cardio...and its one hell of an ab work out.
I also weightlift on the other days...once every 3 days.
do a full body work out....and do 4 sets a lift. Doing chest will increase your strength...but doing triceps and shoulders will also increase your bench press.
Bench press is probably the most worthless lift out of any lift I can think of. it serves about zero purpose for any sport....or activity. legs and back are some important muscules....slong with abs/triceps.

well cylcing is cardio buddy in addition having a good diet is very important, but to burn fat, cardio is essential. bench is a good mass builder imo, incline is a great form of bench. It work shoudlers, tris, and chest.
This is what I usually do for chest, and I've gotten pretty good results. I only use dumbells. I do three sets of incline, regular, and decline. Then four sets of flies. I'm kinda at a plateau with this weight right now.
I know most men aren't into Yoga, but it really helps to define and develop muscle. I have quite a few nice looking men in my class! You use muscles not targeted by other exercises, and you hold the position for long enough to get something out of it, rather than simply stretching.

well ive already been losing weight, i lost like 16 pound i think in the last couple months. But i just never saw results from when i did my chest exercises so thats why i was curious. I think ima go back to what i was doing before, lift heavier and less reps, cause my friend told me do less weight more reps to get defined, but then its just boring. Thanks for the help.
thats a common misconception. Cardio + Diet = definition. If you only incling 90lbs on incline... id say work on upperchest. Whats your bodyweight btw?
try this for your flat. Im guessing your max is around 180 lbs.
140*8
140*6
150*4
160*3
170*2
180*1
140*6
Than do incline/decline or both 3 sets of 6-8 reps
Than do flys 3 sets of 8 reps
that flat routine has worked well for me. See how that one goes, if you do it with ease up each by 5-10lbs.

guys go to the gym for different purpose then girls.
guys wants six pack abs and big biceps; girls wants toned legs and slender waist.
i will never be able to get 15inch biceps with yoga.
and why couldnt you develop your chest more?? do some butterfly press, muscles underneth your tits grows bigger, push them out further. same cup size but more further out.
The thing is their boobs will get harder which is not cool. But develop your pectoralis minora its the arm pit muscle its the one that hold your boobs up and makes them perky.

I was joking about my chest. It's just fine
I teach yoga and dance. Yoga isn't only for women, it's another form of strength training. Not only does it develop muscle, but it also defines it. And, it uses muscles that lifting weights or running don't. It also helps with balance and endurance.
Depending on your age, you will never be able to get "15 inch biceps". After age 26, you do not produce more muscle cells. You can improve on the ones you have, but no more will grow.
