Does Madden (EA Sports) cover spell doom for McNabb?

Isn't there a Campbell Soup Jinx too? I guess McNabb is x2 cursed. W/ TO on his team, I guess you can make that x3.

Does Madden cover spell doom for McNabb?

FOXSports.com

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb has agreed with Electronic Arts to become the cover boy of the best-selling video game Madden NFL 2006, the SportsBusiness Journal reported.

But McNabb might want to watch his step as a result.
The Madden game is thought to be the most popular video game in the United States. However, the collective fates of previous Madden cover boys seem to indicate that McNabb might be facing a jinx of sorts:

The Tennessee Titans' Eddie George suffered a series of injuries and was never quite the same (player) after becoming the first player to appear on the cover in 2000.

The Vikings' Daunte Culpepper followed by suffering a season-ending knee injury during a miserable 5-11 season.

In 2002, Marshall Faulk suffered a variety of injuries during the Rams' 7-9 season.

In 2003, the Atlanta Falcons' Michael Vick missed most of the season after he suffered a broken leg.
Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis, who appeared on the cover last year, managed to avoid the injury bug, but 2004 won't be remembered as one of his most dominant seasons.

McNabb, according to the Journal, also has endorsement deals with companies such as Reebok, Campbell's Soup, and the Lincoln Financial Group.

of course mcnabb never made it to a super bowl without to :clap

ray lewis was on last year's cover and had a pretty good season, even though he broke his wrist in the next to last game- 146 tackles, 2 fumble recoveries, and 1 sack.

and mcnabb's been doing the campbell's soup thing for a while...

both guys won the super bowl.

this will be mcnabb's 3rd season doing the campbell's soup thing (first season both he and warner were doing it, this past season it was mcnabb and his mom), and he's been getting better. so, perhaps it's a blessing for him.

Yeah, but then they got the C.Soup endorsements. Then Davis got hurt, and Warner got his concussions, etc.

Maybe TO was Donovan's curse.
