Manny Pacquiao vs Marquez - who watched it?
pacquiao should have won.....knocked marquez down 3 times in the first round, so the first round should have been scored 10 to 6 in favor of pacquiao. the final score was 115-110, 110-115, 113-113, so it was a draw!!!!  the judge that scored 113-113 had the first round scored as 10-7 
in the post fight interview, pacquaio said he's down for a rematch to show the world who's really the best. marquez said in his interview that he doesn't need a rematch because he feels he won that fight.
it was damn good fight though :eek but damn, if you get knocked out 3 times in the first round, you should have lost....

okay, but even a person that's not a fan of boxing would know that a person who gets knocked down 3 times should have LOST

yeah, i watched that fight, well, flipped between that fight and the chapelle marathon.
it was a good fight, marquez was kicked pacquiao's ass in the middle rounds while pac was rompin on marquez at the beginning and the end. i guess i could maybe justify a draw, but the first round is kinda hard to get over.

not a fan of boxing really, unless Tyson fights...i feel like they don't do damage fast enough like UFC or Pride fighting...
You should get into that bro, it's exciting...my gf can't watch that stuff, she says it's too violent...
I just wish Mirko Cro Cop would stop getting his ass whooped, he's one of my favorite fighter..

i agree...the guy that does his round by round score on hbo kept giving the marginal rounds to pacquiao when to me it just seemed like marquez was landing all the punches. the whole time the guys on hbo kept saying how manny was winning the rounds easily...i could see how the judges could have scored it a draw even w/ the first round, although the 2 judges scoring it 115-110 for manny and 115-110 for marquez was a little odd...

i watched this k1 thai kickboxing stuff earlier this week...that was pretty sick. i used to watch the ufc back in the day when it was still in its infancy (gracie and shamrock) :evil
anyways, the fight was pretty even in the later rounds....pac had the first few rounds and the last rounds....marquez had the middle rounds. if it hadn't been 3 knockdowns in the first round, i would have been satisfied w/ the draw. oh yeah, and i dunno how you can slip, fall on your ass, and have a fucked up bloody face

Gracie and Shamrock are classic UFC veterans, but their fights back then were really really boring...usually end up on the ground for minutes, and then gracie would bend ur arm forcing u to tap, or choke you with his Gi...
Modern fighters in the UFC strikes more, lot of knock outs...

That was a good fight, I would have scored it a draw. Granted Pacquiao knocked down Marquez 3 times in the first round, but damn Marquez has some balls becuase he took those knockdowns like a soldier and came back to out box Pacquiao in the rest of the rounds to last the entire fight. Marquez was definetly landing the best shots......Pacquiao boxing style seems a little wild......... Hopefully there will be a rematch..............

paq shouldve won but only by one point because after that marquez i felt shaped up and beat his ass good. and yea k1 is good when its two good fighters
