that's what I thought, too. I wonder how many people paid for this UFC ppv though, they should've made it free on Spike.

My ex-boyfriend used to do MMA/UFC style fighting. He was pretty good at it, I suppose. I'm really into that kind of stuff though. I would do it if I wasn't small. Thinking about it makes me miss playing rugby.. God that game was fun.

I heard the same thing. At those lower weights he's gonna have to go up against some ultra fast dudes who started out as grapplers before building their standup game.
Considering he's known as a counterpuncher I don't think a lot of top guys are gonna be too afraid of a one shot KO from Jr. Especially when they can duck his strength by shooting in.
If he keeps blocking the shoot, and backing up to counter; a US crowd will start to boo him unmercifully.
It'll be like the old days of the UFC. Kinda like how Pat Smith was when he first started, or even Liddell his first time in the Octagon.

I see it already:
1. *Ding, ding!* fight's on!
2. A couple ranging jabs from Jr.
3. Opponent shoots a few times and eventually gets a double leg.
4. Rolling around on the ground.
5. Jr. goes to a turtle, opponent gets hooks.
6. Jr. gets rolled over and has to tap to sometype of rear choke.

Yea BJJ is pretty much required unless you have super shoot defense and brick hands like Chuck or Rampage. Otherwise you gonna tap. haha

whatever the third round was 10-8 and jackson may have won 2 of the others. that was griffin's finest moment thus far.

It was the 2nd that Griffin dominated though, not third. Rounds 3 and 4 were close though, but Griffin won by controlling the pace throughout the fight and having a better game plan. It's not a controversial win, but a draw would not have been a bad call. Rampage was fucked up by those leg kicks.
I'm not a Rampage nuthugger, I didn't really pick anyone to win this, but I sure hope Machida will get a title shot next and tool Forrest.

my b, the second. i would have been very upset with a draw, personally, because like you said griffin pushed the pace the whole time. he had rampage so far out of his usual confident space that he's usually in.. and i like rampage, he wins me money.. i told everybody though, if anybody can stand in there & take his best shot, it's forrest.
