Thu., July 25 Philadelphia signs G Greg Buckner and F Monty Williams.

Wed., July 24 Orlando re-signs F Pat Garrity, waives F Jud Buechler.
Utah re-signs C Jarron Collins.

Philadelphia rescinds its qualifying offer to free-agent F Matt Harpring, making him unrestricted.

Tue., July 23 San Antonio re-signs F Bruce Bowen.
Denver signs first-round pick Nene Hilario, acquired in a trade with New York.

F Hanno Mottola, who spent the past two seasons in Atlanta, signs with the Spanish club Tau Ceramica Vitoria.

I'm glad we finally got Baker out of seattle. He has been horrible the past few years.

Bahahahaahahah I think he was doing it on purpose, he still has 20ppg left in him, watch you'll see, well maybe not in Boston playing behind A. Walker, but he'll be a good backup PF unless they start him a C. But with P. Peirce and A. Walker on that team he can't touch 20 ppg.

hahahah... i am sure glad baker got out of seattle too... seattle was doing way better with him out of the lineup... seattle will be better two years from now with baker gone cause it frees up $$$ for the big free agents coming out next year...

oh... and i think seattle got the better part of the deal... seattle got rid of baker's $12mil contract... kenny anderson is getting paid $9 mil, but he only has one year left... forte is still young and hopefully will deliver... and potapenko is another big body the sonics can use against SHAQ...

ps... baker's number will probably stay the same, if not drop, this season... although he is big enough to play center in the east, he style of play just doesn't match with walker and pierce's game... and no more kenny anderson to dish the ball...

I would love it if the Bulls were the worst team in the league and had a chance to pick up LeBron James. IMO the Bulls might make the playoffs though. All you have to do is win .500 to make the playoffs in the east.

and washington signing hughes??? dumb move i think... although hughes is a big time scorer, he's just another point guard that really is a shooting guard... chris whitney, juan dixon, and lue are also more shooters than point guards... unless the make hughes play 2 again, and hamilton 3... jordan comes off the bench, or plays the 1... oh... maybe that will work...

Big guys are always good in seattle, we've basically never had one. Although I thought James was starting to mature last season. Ever since Kemp left, sonics just havnt really been too exciting. I dont like Bakers style of play at all. Never goes up stong and will never try to dunk in peoples faces, he always goes up for a little pussy lay up, and that pissed me off. Also, he was getting injured every game towards the end of the season. I think the 3 players we aquired will be good.

OH, and about the east having to win only .500 to get into the playoffs, that's so true!! haha.

and vladi is developing too... he looks like he's gonna be pretty good in the future... just gotta work on some D... but all the buzz around rashard lewis is that he's leaving... talk about loyalty... he was lucky the sonics picked him up at all... although he was disappointed to not be drafted in the first round, he should still be happy he got drafted... he needs to be like payton and stay with one team...

and i never really enjoyed the sonics anymore after karl and kemp left... that was the reason why i starting liking the sonics in 92... it was because i thought kemp and payton were going to be like the next stockton/malone... the next super duo...

oh... and you should see all my roommates... i'm a sonics fan stuck in not only LAKER territory, but a LAKER household...

Oh I havnt heard about lewis wanting to leave...anymore info. on that? Hopefully we'll do better this year, desmond mason really matured last season, and you know payton is always ready to play.

i read it on espn... it says that he is unhappy that seattle is ONLY offering him 50+million and not in the range of 70+million...

omg, greedy damn people. I dont know if he knows this, but he is still very young, and still has a lot to learn, hes not the best player in the damn league. O well, we'll probably get some good players for him.
