tennis vs running? which is better exercise

which one is better exercise? running about 3 miles or playin tennis for 2 hours? i started to run about 3 miles 2-3 time a week but now im playin tennis for about 2 hour a day 2 times a week..

when i run, i run for a while and then i walk for a while as oppose to playin tennis i dont run around as much but sprints to balls and stuff like that

tennis will work your upper body alot more. id say playing tennis is a good replacement...more fun too.

Tennis is a great workout, you develop balance moving side to side, and it works your upper body. and it gives your legs a nice workout as well.

All around..tennis is way better than running.

i say tennis is a great alternative to running if you and your oponent are decent players. i say that because i used to play with my girl and she kinda sucked so there was alot of just serving over and over again. really hard to break a sweat. but if your good and you play someone good and theres alot of movement going around, you know sprinting back and forth then yes, if not no, stick to running.

i'd say tennis. Running isnt all that great for you anyways, its bad on your knees. you could speed walk though, thats a really good work out.

this is irrelevant but ive HEARD i dont know for sure but hockey and motocross were some of the most physically demanding sports in the world and since i used to play hockey, and i still race MX i can somewhat vouch for it, if you wanna make running more fun, im getting into parkour im not very good but it makes running way more fun
