its weird, i like the san jose sharks, not necessarily hockey. i cannot watch a game that doesn't involve the sharks. but i do know quite a bit about the sharks though.

Hockey is the shit, I used to play in high school, and Im lucky enough to have an elite team to watch (detroit red wings) in my area.

i go to the hockey games here all the time. It's minor league hockey though. For 13 bucks a seat and plenty of fights, you really can't beat it. Jacksonville Baracudas! Other than that i dont watch it on tv. better in person.

My family used to have Kings season tickets many years ago. Hockey seems to be a shrinking regional game... Heck, the A-S game is tonight (WED.!!). A weeknight!

yea thats strange....I think the problem with hockey is that they are not becoming racially diverse (though internationally diverse), like other pro leagues are in America. I think that if they were able to intergrate more racial diversity into the sport, then it would easily become more popular and draw in higher revenues. Back when I played hockey, there was like twenty white kids on my team, one black kid, and me (filipino). That definetly made it slightly uncomfortable for me and the black kid.

lol i saw that on ESPN this am.. we were at the blue jackets/oilers game last night and it was LONG due to fighting also.. nothing like THAT insanity tho
