Lightbulb C35A1 swap possible?

I'm really looking into this now. The C35A1 from a 3.5RL would be a massive upgrade if dropped into the lighter/more nimble 2nd-gen Legend chassis. From what I can tell, the C35 is simply an over-stroked C32A1 Type I:

C32A1: 3.2L SOHC V6; 90mm x 84mm bore and stroke.
C35A1: 3.5L SOHC V6; 90mm x 91mm bore and stroke.

My plan is to take the potent C35A1 (225 hp@5200, 231 lb/ft@2800!) and drop it into my 1993 Legend sedan. Besides putting the low-rpm monster into a a quicker car, I'm hoping it'd also be possible to attach a manual transmission (which as far as I know, does NOT yet exist... a C35 attached to a manual trans.?)

Another possibility is maybe to trade a couple parts and simply over-stroke the C32. I don't know about the viability of that idea, but I'm attracted more to the thought of slipping a newer, lower-mileage engine into my 10-yr old car.

My 1993 sedan IS a manual trans, so I'm not worried about doing an auto-to-manual conversion. I was more worried about the C35 engine being able to bolt up to a manual transmission at all. I don't know exactly how the engines hook up to transmissions. In an automatic Legend, does the tranny still press up against a flywheel? I've got a manual trans. I'd like to use with the C35 (if it's possible)...

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Because non-VTEC engines tend to have more torque. I have no real need to rev insanely high, and neither do I want to, just to get that "VTEC-kick". I tend to think... hmm.... Legends are one of the few Hondas that never had VTEC. Why? Probably because they're so friggin' heavy, Honda wanted to give them as much torque as possible. No VTEC.

Only the first-gen Legends were transverse. The second-gen Legends and the RL are longitudal (kinda rare for a FWD car), and my '93 is a second gen SEDAN with a manual trans (even more rare).

I test drove a 94 ledend sedan manual and i liked it, but ultimately i picked the CL because it had 1/3 of the miles. Sorry i cant help on the RL engine bit, i hope it works out.

It has been done already, and is about to be done again. The guy who did it has a 98 RL engine, with type 2 legend heads (flow much better than RL heads, which is why the RL has less hp) and an RL intake manifold. There is a decent amount of custom work that has to be done. Which includes lenthening an engine mount (front pass side), lengthening the water channel which goes into the upper rad hoes, and putting little slots in the intake manifold (not sure why, but they are there).

he also has a 6 speed, and LSD installed. the car is a 1991 L sedan also. originally an auto.

it is possible, but you might be better off just building up a legend motor. (high comp pistons, bored a little bit, larger valves, extruded exhaust manifold, and P&P intake manifold). that will give you quite a bit of power....
