moisture in headlight....

are the headlights covered in the warranty? lately my driver side headlight has been accumulating moisture...

or am i just gonna have to deal with it?

btw... those who dont know... i own an 04' tsx

yes, when i took my car over to the dealer I spoke w/the tech and he said that it is common for the headlight on the tsx to get water moisture in the headlight as long as you are under warranty it should be able to cover it. mine is an 04 as well but i havent gotten any moisture in the light (knock on wood) and i live in fl.

Yes, the tsx has an issue with getting water leaking into the top edge of the housing then accumulating on the lens. If you already have it there isn't much that can be done besides replacing the entire headlight assembly. If you do not yet have the problem there is a dealer installable update that consists of a couple of clips on the top of the headlight. They put pressure on the suceptable seal and should keep it from leaking. There is a service bulletin on the issue. If I remember correctly the normal warranty applies but I would have to check to be sure. Good luck.

PS until you can get the problem fixed the only effects will be reduced headlight illumination, shorter bulb life and general ugliness.
