Some douchebag pulled a hit & run on me while my car was parked at work There's no way he hit it that hard and didn't notice. I'm sure I'll have to replace the door skin and probably the safety beams inside the door...and get it painted. I still need to replace the windshield and passenger side mirror too...

I just said fuck it. It took me forever to get the damn bar off cuz it was all bent up and I didn't realize there were a couple bolts hidden inside the bar connected to the frame. I talked to a body shop, and they didn't want to do it because they wouldn't be doing anything but the bar and said something about liability issues with the rest of the work Whatever, I managed to get the damn bar off on my own and just said fuck it and put the bumper on without it...

factory harness for fog lights...
Alright, so I got in my Type R style front lip and OEM driving lights this afternoon. Went ahead and put on the front lip after work, I'll get some pics up tomorrow. I'm wondering if I might have to take the fogs somewhere to have them installed unfortunately. They didn't come with instructions - which annoys the shit out of me. I picked up the most recent issue of "Project Car" magazine because it had an EK on the cover and they did the driving light install in the mag. They showed a pic of the factory harness the fogs plug into under the hood and at the fuse box under the dash. But they were working on a coupe and I can't seem to find the harness under the hood of my sedan. I'm gonna have to run by the dealership and see if they know whether the sedan came with the harnesses or not. If not I'm not in the mood to wire it myself. Anyways, didn't know if anyone on here knew if the sedan had the harness or not...

I got mine off eGay for a pretty decent price. You can also find them on k2motor.com and various other sites. They've got a variety of styles on eGay, just gotta find the ones you like. Pretty much plug and play from there: remove bumper, unplug and remove old headlights, move headlight bulbs to new fixture, plug everything back in and bolt up lights and bumper...not at all difficult
All I ask is that you don't get the halo projectors because they are gay and don't last very long and are a pain to wire...

Alright, I swear I'm gonna post up some new pics when I get home today to show off the front lip and fogs. Also ordering replacement OEM passenger mirror when I get off work, so hopefully I'll have that on in a couple of weeks. Plus I'm callin around this week tryin to find the best price on a new windshield so I can take care of that before it starts getting really cold outside...
Other than that plans for the winter are new exhaust w/ gold Apex'i N1 out the rear end, savin up for some 16x7 gold Konig Feathers and 205/45/16s, and suspension consisting of 500f/350r GC/Koni SP3 or Yellows with front top hats - and hopefully finding a cheap(ish) place to get the driver side rear doorskin fixed and painted...

Dammit dammit dammit - I knew I forgot something tonight! I got caught up talking to a buddy at KC Trends cuz I'm gonna need to get the brow tinted again once I replace the windshield...
Yeah, I'm going with the gold Feathers. Decided I gotta have an accent color and not the all black Darth Vader look I figure gold rims, gold exhaust, remove the white/silver trim around the car, get me a gold EJ8Squad vinyl to put on it somewhere and slam that bitch to the ground and I should be happy for a lil while at least
I'll have to put an alarm on my phone so it beeps at me after work to remind me to take some pics when I get home. It definitely looks better with the lip and fogs (which I still haven't got working ) but also looks like a damn 4x4 - so damned annoying. I'll take some pics of the rims too
i was messin with you man. you still haven't been able to get the lights to work? seriously if i lived closer i would hook you up, lights and suspension! did you ever decide what you were going to do suspesion wise(eibach or h&r)? i love the look of a slammed civic, especially a 4 door w/ rims!
forgive if mah grammer is off i have been drinkin teh beers

Nah, I fuckin got pissed after 2 days of wiring problems and shot k2motor an email and still need to take some pics of the wiring harnesses they sent me and see if they want to send me a different harness - one that actually hooks up to the factory harness. Otherwise, I'm just gonna see if I can't find a place to take care of it for me so it doesn't give me anymore headaches.
As for suspension, I've upped the ante and think I'm goin with GC/Koni Yellows (or SP3s, undecided there) 500f/350r with front top hats so I can dump it to the ground and still ride fairly comfortably. Seems to be the suspension of choice among all the guys I talked to on H-T who are slammed...
well gl with the wiring issues! as far as slamming that bitch, i have tein basic dampers on mine. mine is all the way down and it rides good! of course still a lil rough over potholes, but still pretty smooth considering its slammed. i think my setup cost me around $950. well thats not including the camber kit for the front and back, i love it though! tein ftw

Yeah, I've been searching for awhile now. I thought I'd be happy with just some springs and new shocks but after reading through some threads on slammed Hondas it brought me back to reality and made me realize how much I loved rollin in the CB7 when it was dropped 4 inches and scraped on everything So now I'm researching coilovers, that with the 16s should make the ek much easier to put on the ground
16's will make it a lot easier. i use to have some 17's on my civic and they rubbed like a bitch! i had to tilt my camber in because i didnt want to use a baseball bat and bend in the inside of the fender. well gl luck any way you go with the suspension!
