2.5 Inch Exhaust Piping

I having a brain fart at the moment, is there any way to know without the use of a Dyno if increasing the diameter of the exhaust piping will increase Torque? only ask because after upgrading my piping to 2.5 from the headers to the muffler I really have to baby first gear if not it'll break traction just having one of those moments where I dont wan to necesarily believe my But Dyno. any imput will be greatly appreciated, I'm runing an LS/VTEC just in case you guys needed to know.

less air restriction... you may lose torque... but gain top end... when i was running DC 4-1 Skunk2 test and Apexi N1... i had less low end but more top end.... then i swapped my stock cat back in and i can feel more low end, but less top end....

plus my car got quite quiet... i duno if i like it anymore... might put the test back in hahahah.

I have straight through piping with just a resonator and Apexi WS 2, sound hella deep, I would even say throaty, but for some reason my tires break loose in first gear easily more so now that I changed the piping, dunno it might just be me.
