700 for a TPS sensor!!!!????
Yep. Good ol'e Honda Dealership quoted me 7 bills for a TPS sensor because they didnt sell them individually but i have to purchase the whole throttle body with it.
Logic? Anywhere? Would someone please help me find the logic in that?
where's the logic in repeating the last word of an abbreviation or anagram or whatever? is it a Throttle Position Sensor sensor? do you say PIN number? ATM machine? ..just a pet peeve of mine.

Actually, I've always heard people say PIN Number, or ATM Machine. Now I'm not sure where exactly you are from but in my lil hick town of a town down her yonder in Texas... We talka tad diffrent
hah Thanks for the suggestions, I am a bit skeptical about the junkyards though. Due to the fact that it is a sensor, one of my pet peeves are buying sensors new due to the nature of malfunction.
I guess for 700 dollars though... i could look at a yard or 2

i had the same thkng happen bro. ya honda wanted like 6 and some change for mine and i told em to forget it. went to a pick n pull junkyard and found 3 good working sensors in a matter of 15 min. its not had to find just gotta call and ask when they are getting a new shipment of cars in and be there on the first day or so before they get picked thru. hopefully u get lucky man.
