98 civic speedometer/odometer and engine light problem

I have a 98 civic and the speedometer/odometer stopped working and the engine light went on. Also the fuse blew #15, which is the SP sensor and alternator circuit. After driving it for two more days the ABS light went on and the car lost all power. CDN tire did a diag. and came up with the codes P0135 and P0145 which is related to the O2 sensor. They wiggled the wires on the O2 sensor, SP sensor and put a new fuse in and charged the battery and voila the car seemed to work long enough for me to pay the bill. The next day, the engine light went on again, fuse #15 blew again and the speedometer stopped working. I'm just waiting until the ABS light goes on as well and I loose all power again. Can someone tell me if it this is a wiring problem between the alternator and speed sensor??? or any other clues. I'm just a female who doesn't have $$$$ and willing to looking for the problem myself with a little bit of help for you. Thanks for your input.
PS. The alternator is 6 years old and the 02 sensor is two years old.

If my memory serves me correctly its neither your alternator or 02 sensor..

I had the same damn problem right after a b20 swap in my 97ex. I went through three alternators only to find out that they were all good (doh!) I want to say it has something to do with the fuse box underhood but honestly its been so damn long i cant remember exactly what it was. I'll have to take a look at my wiring schematics again and see if I can remember but until then Id keep a few fuses handy. Dead give away when the fuse blows is when the tach stops working, pull over immediately and throw a new one in there otherwise youll be looking for a jump. I'll take a look later after work and hopefully get back on this evening.

Thanks for your input, you are right it's neither the 02 sensor nor the alternator but a wiring problem from the 02 sensor. It's in a very tight and awkward place so whenever the light comes on I open the hood wiggle the wires and reset the check engine light, replace the fuse and everything works again - it's been two weeks now. Did you just change the wiring harness from the 02 sensor (it's on the same circuit as the alternator). Thanks for your help.
