Nice car. Not too keen on the pinstriping and the sunroof deflector, but that's just me.
Is that where you usually park your car? I hope you have a security system, lo-jack, or something.

Well...the sunroof deflector and the pinstriping were on the car when I bought it. I actually plan on having both removed when I get my car repainted. I have everything mechanically sound...now I need the body to be flawless. I plan on changing to a carbon fiber front end (hood, bumper, and fenders), jdm thin side moldings, and a type r style rear lip. I am even looking into cf side skirts and a cf rear lip. I actually want a cf trunk, but I have only seen them for the 96-98 civic sedan...which is a direct bolt on, but I would have to change my tail lights. I don't want to do that because I like having the clear over the red vs under it.
And no...that's not were I park at. I actually have off street parking in the back of my house. However, I do have Viper 2 way paging alarm, club, and an autolock....You can never be too careful...

yeah, the only thing that car really needs IMO is some fog lights (OEM or otherwise, doesn't really matter), and maybe black out the headlight surrounds.
c'mon guys, this post almost dropped to the second page, what's the matter with us!
nothing new to report on the wagon, still just waiting for the JDM grill to arrive. also been looking for a wing, but not having much luck.

i think it's cool how many new posters are participating. for a while, it was just a small handful of us posting. kinda funny since we still had the most active thread of all!
sadly, two of us have left the ranks of the Ferio owners, but at least we're both still physically around.

I think we should sticky this one just like the last one, I know that was really easy for people to find the thread. Plus if we don’t post up for a while we won’t have to go off searching for it.
I'm gonna try to start getting in on some of yall’s conversations, some things I really don't know about so I just sit back and read.

Well, I've finally decided on a plan for my car. Later this spring/summer my car will no longer be stock. Here's a list of what I plan on doing:
1) Install an EX/Si transmission
2) Install a short shifter
3) Mini-me conversion
For the mini-me I'll use a D16Z6 head with a y8 head gasket, arp head bolts, Megan header (if available), and a y8 IM/TB. Once that's all finished, a year or two down the road and I'll build the block with D16A1 pistons to bump the compression into the 12s and eagle rods with arp bolts.
Should be quite the NA SOHC beast once I'm entirely finished. I'm aware that with all the money I plan to spend on the mini-me I could just get a better motor. But 1) I don't plan on doing that all at once, will probably convert first, save for a while, then build. And 2) Besides the rods/pistons/header I will have spent about $500-$600 and that will include a new timing belt, water pump, plugs & wires, and distributor cap & rotor. All for 25% more HP.
What do you guys think?

well shoot, you don't have to understand what we're talking about. there's always something to be said about our cars.
i checked out the link, in your signature, but that car looks a lot different than the one in your sig! is that other page out of date?
