part of the reason it sucks is because you need new struts. stock struts and better shocks and springs is a terrible idea. and alot of people neglect brand new bushings.

the get sway bars
strut bars
traction bars (if applicable)
camber kit (if applicable)

Tires, Bushings (often overlooked as stated), and Sways should be good after that.

What is there to really remove to reduce weight??

Or are you saying to replace existing parts for lighter ones??

I was wanting to remove the power steering components, how much weight will that remove??

And i know this is off topic but how far off are the speedo's in these cars??

A few days ago i had a buddy in the car and for shits and giggles he wanted to see how fast the car would go. So on the freeway at about 90mph i put it in 4th and floored it, i let off still in 4th, rpm's at about 5800-5900 and the needle showing 128-129. Car has a cai, si's with good rubber and mufferless(previous owner liked the sound i guess) how fast was i REALLY going???
