City lights came on the JDM ITR and CTR models. They are just as they sound, "city lights", and derive their name from the big city! haha, because in the big cities in Japan, there is so much light at night, so they came up with these "city lights" that you could put on just so that other drivers know you are there. There was no need for headlights. They are also known as "Courtesy Lights".
And i dont know where to get them from! That is not my civic, i found it on clubcivic.com. But it is a very nice mod. I can either pick up a pair of JDM CTR headlights for like 400 bucks with the socket already on, or i can fabricate it myslef into a set of USDM.
All the other ones i've seen DIY on look very sloppy and nothing like the picture above. The LED's used are way to bright and it looks tacky.

well then buy a stepped drill bit and a pair of 194/168 pigtails & bulbs (no led) from a junkyard & o'reiley's respectively and get to work.

My bud wanted those on his Civic a few years back, he didn't have any luck finding any. I ended up making them for him.
Pretty straight forward.

they are City Lights!!! Congrats on the fog lights though, but i'm lookin for city lights, and like Jo060 said, his friend didnt have any luck finding any, and i'm not either. I think i'm going to end up fabricating them from scratch like Clayton had suggested as well. If they are to bright, then i can work with a shield or coat the bulb to dim it down.
Keep you posted SHO. Look out for it yo...
