EG springs on a DC?

i recently bought a set of H&R sports for my 97 civic and when i got them they were for a 92-95 si. i contacted the buyer and he told me h&r is changing all the part number and fed me a line of s**t. well i recently bought a 00 gsr and since it is based off the eg chassis can i use the h&r springs on a set of koni yellow's i bought? i did research but cant find anything helpful. thanks

the springs will fit but will be the wrong spring rate for the car cause the teg is heavier than the civic so it would not ride very good also may sag in front or rear more and not be even
