H22 Motor Swap into a 2004 Honda Civic Ex

Just wanted to ask you guys to see if an H22 Type S Motor would fit correctly in an 04 Civic EX. Thanks.

you mean the h22 from a lude.....aka the SH.

or did you mean the k20 from the type-s rsx

Well i know that an h22 s is a Prelude engine straight from japan but i spoke w/ some guy at an import shop and he said that a K20A Type R Would fit but that shits like 6 K

haven't heard of anyone doing the h22 in the newer civics. You will have a hard time finding engine mounts for the h22. Most people don't even consider the h22 considering that you can get a k20 or k24.

I'm pretty sure this has been covered before BUT, you should check with your local laws before even considering such a swap. It's illegal in some places(really should be a global law) to put an older motor into a newer car. Save your monies for a k20/k24 swap. Fewer headaches that way from what I understand.
